hI’m back from a great holiday in Andalucia, the south of Spain. We really had a fantastic time! I could go back in a sec if that was possible! In my opinion Andalusia has everything. Beautiful nature with mountains, hills, bright blue lakes and cute white villages.
I was just looking at these holidaypics and I decided to share a small selection with you in three parts. With only the best parts of our holiday and a few previews of the outfit photos. Hope you`ll like it!
The two most important reasons that we decided to go to Andalucia was Ronda, the beautiful city on the cliff and the famous walk El Caminito del Rey. I`ll tell you more later about Ronda. Today I’ll show you an impression of the Caminito del Rey. Until the end of March this year it was the most dangerous hiking path in the world. The path was officially closed in 2000 when several people were found dead in the deep cliffs. Although it was illegal, there were many adrenaline junkies that took the risk to walk the world’s scariest and most dangerous hike. I knew when I saw those photos on Pinterest and videos on Youtube that it was way too dangerous to visit, but it seemed to me a fantastic walk so I kept looking at them. Until the big news came! The footpath would be restored and they would place safety features like handrails, wood-paneled paths and a skywalk.
Now it was totally safe to go! It is absolutely necessary to book it a long time before you go, because it is really popular and there is a visitors limit. But if you are near El Chorro I would say: Go! The Lonely planet describes it as one of the world`s hottest travel experiences in 2015 and I can say it is! The views are breath taking! Also the lakes around the walk are great to visit. They are bright blue and green. Beautiful!
To conclude, I’ll share a preview of next week’s outfit post!
