Every year when it gets colder I`m digging a simpler almost monochromatic colour palette, opting for darker colours (read black) for most of the days. But that`s not what I want, so I try to fight it and every time when I put on something black I combine it with a pop of colour. And I`m not a fan of anything plain, so I always look for those special little extras that make the everyday look more special. So today when I grabbed for a black and white striped poncho again I decided that I had to add a little twist, and a little colour. after all The day was grey enough already. So instead of a black top underneath the poncho I chose to add a bit of my favourite of all signal colours to the look. Red! You can only see a peek of red at the sleeves, so I also went for red boots and a red beret.
What do you think of this look? Do you also grab more often to dark colours in fall/winter?
